Valcom is looking for a Senior LCMS to work with the Directorate of Combat Support Engineering Management (DCSEM) Section 5 which provides in-service support to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defence equipment fleet that enables the Canadian Forces (CF) to operate in a contaminated environment by providing detection, identification, monitoring protection and decontamination capabilities.

Mandatory and Rated Requirements

1) 36 months of combined experience within the last 96 months, performing seven (7) or more out of the following fourteen (14) tasks:

A.      Prepare technical statements of requirements, draft specifications and purchasing descriptions

B.      Review disposal certificates, make recommendations for disposal, update maintenance handbooks, parts lists, and operating manuals

C.      Investigate Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCRs) and Technical Failure Reports (TFRs)

D.      Define standards and criteria related to equipment or systems maintenance

E.       Review and update materiel/equipment specifications

F.       Prepare, modify, or update specifications and drawings

G.      Prepare, modify, or update Technical Instructions and Orders

H.      Perform configuration management

I.         Evaluate existing systems

J.        Perform analysis of maintenance, repair, and overhaul data

K.       Prepare data for initial provisioning and repair parts scaling

L.       Prepare repair procedures, maintenance schedules, and technical data

M.    Prepare support cost option analysis for systems and equipment

N.      Advise on the disposition of obsolete Technical Publications

 

2) A minimum of 24 months of combined experience within the last 96 months, performing four (4) or more out of the following seven (7) tasks in an Enterprise Resource Management system (e.g. SAP, DRMIS):

A.      Manage material stock holding

B.      Catalogue parts

C.      Set up parts scaling in the supply system

D.      Manage a Repair & Overhaul Program

E.       Generate Stock Overview reports

F.       Create equipment checklists

G.      Manage parts and equipment disposal activities

 

Additional tasks may include but are not limited to the following Life Cycle Material Management functions for designated DND equipment:

A.      Review technical reports and returns

B.      Attend meetings, take minutes, and track action items

C.      Prepare life cycle cost estimates

D.      Develop and maintain equipment checklists in SAP
