One (1) Senior Engineering Graduate to work with QETE 2-3 in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Tasks
Among the task to be completed the following are expected:
– the resource must perform the following tasks and activities and deliver resulting deliverables within a multi-disciplinary failure analysis and design review team:
– Conduct structural load and strength substantiation analysis of mechanical components/assemblies of moderate to high complexity using Finite Element Method (FEM).
– Perform static and dynamic/event stress analyses of metallic and composite components/assemblies
At a minimum, the following must be provided:
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a university degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
Must have a minimum of eight (8) years of combined experience within the past ten (10) years using Finite Element Methods (FEM) in the following areas:
a. static modeling;
b. dynamic modeling; and
c. non-linear modeling.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years using Finite Element Methods (FEM) in high strain rate modeling.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of five (5) years of combined experience within the last eight (8) years in the following fields:
a. solid mechanics; and
b. engineering materials.
Must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of five (5) years of combined experience within the last eight (8) years in the design verification of mechanical systems and components.
